From the helpful staff that measured me up for a custom fit suit - to a quick turnaround making and delivering my suit, I finally got to try it on a very cold day at the lake this weekend that normally would have been a dry suit day.
WOW! Blown away by how dry it kept me & how warm & comfortable it was. Thanks for making a great product Seventhwave - the dry suit won’t get much use any more I suspect!

Got a Seventh wave custom fit after a bit of back and forth - I absolutely destroy my wetsuits through wear and tear, so wanted to get something that would hopefully last the distance. Maybe I'll be able to update this after a year haha. Can only comment on the build quality and fit as I've only had it a weekish so far, and gone out for 3-4 surfs. The neoprene is definitely different in a good way, feels stretchy but strong, dries quicker than a standard suit which is a huge bonus in the winter, and is remarkably light weight - so all true claims. Suit is super warm and have not regretted getting the custom fit option to be honest, the fit is just a non-issue, and still easy to get on and off.
I got a 4:3 Max, which I use for winter in Auckland, and its been keeping me warm in July, so we will wait and see how Aug/Sept rolls around, but it is doing a good job here too.
Thoroughly enjoying the suit so far, the Maroon is more purpley in real life than the dark red on the website, so if your a stickler for colour maybe ask their further opinions on what the colours look like in real life vs digital. The customer service on colour accents and how that could work was amazing.

I am thinking of coming back for a custom long john for a summer suit now too.

Custom fit full suit is perfect and nice and warm. Went out for a few hours wake foiling in weekend and very comfortable and warm swapping over in and out of water . Stayed warm driving boat too.
Highly recommended.
