Special attention has been paid to the face seal and chin pattern to ensure the best seal and comfort when immersed in the most frigid of waters.

Technical Info:
Featuring the stretchiest rubber on earth — the Japanese Yamamoto MR7000 3mm superstretch neoprene is completely Titanium lined and used exclusively throughout the hood, retaining heat and adding 40% more warmth. The Zirconium is bright orange and looks like a fluffy polypro type material, but Zirconium is more than a fuzzy lining. It also packs a whole bunch of tech. 

Aero Zirconium is composed of 2 types of yarn: Hollow fibre and Zirconium fibre.
- The Hollow fibre contains air, making it lighter and a better insulator, essentially creating an extra air pocket between you and the water.

- The Zirconium fibre yarn can reflect infrared light transmitted from your skin back onto the body, creating double the warmth between skin and the fabric.

As a result, this combination feels dry when submerged in water.

Yamamoto’s nitrogen closed cell content is over 92% — 23% higher than most competing materials, and with virtually no water absorption, it means the weight of this rubber remains nearly identical in wet or dry conditions. 

Put all of this together, and no ice cream headaches will be happening on those cold winter days.

Construction:
Constructed using glued and blindstiched sealed seams that are taped on the inside, this water-tight construction means you won't feel the water through the seams. A slick skin inner on the face seal has been added to combat excessive flushing, and a moulded chin shape makes the hood really functional and comfortable to use.

Designed to tuck into your existing suit, the bottom of the Arctic Hood has been shaped especially to fit the contours of the neck and is long enough to ensure a warm seal with any wetsuit.
