NZ-made kids’ back zip steamer for surfing, swimming, boating and surf lifesaving

The Youth Viper is a hard-wearing, comfortable full wetsuit that keeps kids warm in the water for hours. It’s handcrafted in our Christchurch workshop, where we’ve been making wetsuits since 1987. Super-stretch arms and legs give kids the freedom to move for surfing, swimming, boating, surf lifesaving, water-skiing and sailing. The back zip makes it easy to get on and off.

When to wear it: spring, summer and autumn. Add a Youth Titanium Hot Top underneath for extra warmth to extend the season.

Sizing: available in Y6, Y8, Y10, Y12, Y14 and Y16. Youth sizes generally follow standard kids’ clothing sizes.

Which is better for my child, the Viper or the Vortex?
The Vortex is our affordable, durable first wetsuit. The Viper has super-stretch arms and legs for more freedom of movement in active sports like surfing and surf lifesaving. The Viper model is a little slimmer in fitting.

Can my child wear it in cooler weather?
Yes. Add a Youth Titanium Hot Top underneath for extra warmth.

What happens when they grow out of it?
Trade it back to us and get a discount on their next suit.
