Unlike traditional hard-soled booties, neoprene sox are lighter, more flexible and incredibly comfortable, with a natural sock-like feel that many ocean users prefer once they've tried them.

The Zirconium lining helps reflect body heat back towards you, increasing warmth without adding bulk. Combined with a durable Armatek sole for added grip and protection, these are the warmest sox we've ever made.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are they grippy enough?

Absolutely. The Armatek sole provides excellent grip while still maintaining the natural feel and flexibility that makes neoprene Sox so popular.

Does my foot move around inside them?

No. When fitted correctly, the Sox should fit snugly and securely. Even when wet, they stay comfortably in place without your foot sliding around inside.

Are they suitable for rocky beaches and rivers?

The Armatek sole adds durability and protection, but these sox are best suited to environments where you aren't regularly walking over sharp rocks, rough riverbeds or abrasive terrain. If most of your use involves frequent walking across rocky entries or exits, a hard-soled bootie will be a more durable option.

Are they good for foiling?

We generally don't recommend them for regular foiling. The constant pressure and movement from foot straps can wear through the neoprene much faster than traditional surfing or swimming use. For frequent foiling, a traditional bootie is usually the better choice.

Do they last as long as a hard-soled bootie?

No. That's the trade-off. Neoprene sox provide superior warmth, flexibility, comfort and board feel, but they won't match the lifespan of a hard-soled bootie in harsher environments.

For many ocean users, the extra warmth and comfort are well worth it.

Size Guide

Neoprene Sox should fit snugly. A close fit helps minimise water movement and ensures they stay comfortable and secure when wet.

For the best fit, use your foot length as the primary guide. Shoe size conversions are approximate and may vary between brands.

If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing down rather than up.
