options - upgrades - extras - additions

A number of wetsuit options or features that can be added to your suit depending on what you do in the water. If you're kiteboarding, sailing or bodyboarding you may prefer to have a few extra's to maximise the performance and function of your suit; simply choose the options you'd like when ordering. It's as easy as that! Click an image to enlarge.

No_Mesh.jpg
No smoothie
Wetsuit is made without smoothie. While smoothie does drain water, we've found our suits don't need it due to the amount of air in the Yamamoto neoprene. So having no smoothie makes the suit a lot more durable, without effecting warmth. The standard option for our team riders. [Learn more about smoothie]
AeroZirconiumWeb
4/3 Zirconium
Choosing the Zirconium option changes the front and back panels to 4mm Aero Zirconium lined Yamamoto Neoprene. NOTE: On the Max model the Zirconium panels will not be as stretchy as the rest of the suit. The Zirconium lining is extremely warm and fast drying. As a result it feels dry when completely submerged in water.
InterHoodsmall
Interchangeable Hood
Turn your wetsuit into a "3 season wetsuit". This option allows you to interchange your hood and standard collar piece depending on conditions. The interchangeable option takes away any unnecessary or unwanted rubber around your neck.
Available on Max and Viper winter ZB models only.
InterHoodsmall
Permanent Hood
This option adds a sewn on hood, perfect for those living in cold conditions year round or those who wear a hood all winter.
Drain.jpg
Drain holes
Choosing this wetsuit option will add a small drainhole to each ankle, eliminating the leg from filling up with excess water. Great for kitesports and the odd waterskier too.

Leg_straps.jpg
Leg straps
Only available on short leg suits, this option adds adjustable straps to each thigh as an extra safeguard against excess water spray. Great for lake watersports.

Lycra-collar.jpg
Lycra collar
Many people don't like the feel of neoprene on the neck. We can add a comfortable collar made from soft lycra on any Vortex Summer model.

The arm or legs can be shortened on any of our suits. Great for those with shorter limbs, or for suits be used for tri-athalon.
Knee-padding.jpg
Inside knee padding
Kneepads can wear out from duck diving or knee paddling—the inside neoprene compresses, or they wear right through. We can add a small inside knee pad on the main duck dive knee. This gives you extra thickness and comfort, can be added to new any new wetsuit or done as a repair.
Armatek.jpg
Armatek
Armatek is a hardwearing material we use mostly on the knees of our Vortex and Viper models. It has a polyurethane coating over a nylon base, it is applied with heat and creates a longer lasting shield than standard nylon.

Kevlar.jpg
Kevlar
Our toughest material, it has kevlar strands woven into neoprene to create a flexible, strong barrier. It comes usually on 3mm or 4mm neoprene and is glued and blind stitched on. Kevlar is a stronger and more comfortable alternative to Armatek.

Bum_pad_small.jpg
Bum pad - Armatek
We can add an Armatek pad to the bum of any suit, to protect against wear and tear. Perfect for scuba and around the rocks, sailing and kayaking, we can also add it to our Titanium Pants. It's specifically offered on the Long John but tell us if you'd like it added to another suit.
