The Platypus® reservoir will accept warm or boiling liquid, or cold or chilled — it can also be frozen — and is completely housed and will not move, whether full or empty. A unique safety feature is the ability to inflate the reservoir with the mouth piece, in times of fatigue or distress, adding extra buoyancy and flotation.
